Cable Lugs

Merqab supplies cable lugs used for the mechanical and electrical connection of cable conductors to equipment terminals, busbar connections, and other current-carrying parts. Our range includes compression cable lugs, bolted cable lugs, and pin-type lugs for copper and aluminum conductors across a wide range of cross-sections from small control cables to large power conductors. A correctly selected and installed cable lug creates a low-resistance, mechanically secure connection that maintains reliable electrical contact throughout the cable system's service life. Using the wrong lug type or size, or incorrect crimping, is a common cause of connection failures, overheating, and fire hazards. All cable lugs we supply are manufactured to IEC 61238-1 standards and are available in tin-plated or bare copper versions. Merqab also supplies the matching compression tooling required to create certified connections.
