Voltage Detectors

Merqab supplies voltage detectors and indicators used by electrical workers to verify the presence or absence of voltage before commencing work on electrical systems. Our range includes non-contact voltage testers, capacitive voltage detectors for MV and HV systems, phase presence indicators, and multifunction voltage detection systems. Confirming that a circuit is de-energized before starting work is one of the most important steps in electrical safety — it is the primary defense against electric shock and arc flash incidents. Voltage detectors must be tested before each use to verify they are functioning correctly. All voltage detectors we supply are rated and tested to IEC 60900 and IEC 61243 standards and are appropriate for use on LV, MV, or HV systems as specified. Merqab advises clients on the correct voltage detector type for their specific system voltage and work environment.
